By Ferry & Road
Travelling from Vancouver or mainland BC is simple with well-connected ferry routes and a scenic drive north.
HULLO FERRIES
A high-speed passenger ferry connecting downtown Vancouver (Coal Harbour) and Nanaimo in approximately 70 minutes. From Nanaimo, Campbell River is a 1.5–2 hour scenic drive north along Vancouver Island.
BC FERRIES
BC Ferries offers regular vehicle and passenger sailings from either Tsawwassen or Horseshoe Bay to Nanaimo. Once you arrive on Vancouver Island, continue north by road to Campbell River
Driving to Campbell River
Campbell River is a scenic drive from key Vancouver Island destinations:
- Nanaimo → approx. 1.5 - 2 hours
- Victoria → approx. 3 hours
- Comox Valley → approx. 40 minutes
